Takafumi Sawaumi

I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. I am an assistant professor at Ryutsu Keizai University. I majored in social psychology and got a PhD in the field. Now I teach English classes as a full-time instructor, and psychology and related classes as a part-time lecturer at four universities. My research area involves such topics as (a) interpersonal communication (primary control vs. secondary control), (b) implicit measurement using primarily the IAT (implicit association test), (c) pedagogy in an EFL (English as a Foreign Language) context, and (d) ijiri (いじり) communication. For more detail, see About Me and Publications.
